Mike P. McKeever brings a wide-ranging background in business planning, thanks to his education, work experience, and business ownership. He holds a BA in Economics from Whittier College and a Master’s from the London School of Economics, with further studies in financial analysis at USC. Mike has taught entrepreneurship and small business management at several community colleges and has written articles on entrepreneurship for Dow Jones, the Sloan Publications Business Journal, and other outlets. Over the years, Mike has successfully bought, expanded, and sold various businesses, including a manufacturing company, gas station, retail store, and more. He has worked with companies of all sizes, from small shops to large manufacturers. As a business broker, he evaluated hundreds of businesses, and as a senior financial analyst for a Fortune 500 company, he wrote and reviewed nearly 500 business plans. Today, Mike continues to assist a few readers with business plan advice via email and serves as a consulting controller and financial advisor for an online retail business.
